Come summer and we are ready for some popsicles and coolers. Make them with fruit and greek yoghurt; and your midday snack is sorted. Make smoothies and turn them into popsicles – excellent for fussy eaters.
Super easy to make and the combinations are endless. Sneak in super foods – strawberries, blueberries, flax powder, ginger and its all in a popsicle! These can pass as dessert after a lunch, excellent for play dates or just for you to relax.
I usually use frozen fruits, greek yoghurt, orange or lemon juice, pinch of salt and blend! And those Ikea moulds are just amazing. Easy to use, easy to de-mould and easy to clean. Not sure why but kids find these moulds fun.
- Frozen blueberries – 1 cup
- Frozen Strawberries – 1 cup
- Lemon/Orange juice – 1/2 cup
- Greek Yoghurt – 2 Tbls
- Pinch of salt
- Sugar/Honey – 2Tbls
Blend all the ingredients thoroughly, add to your moulds and freeze. Thats it. Enjoy!
